During the 2010 World Cup, an OM team showed matches on a large screen in a tent in the village of Makwati, Zambia. When the tournament ended, they needed to return the borrowed tent, but many of those who had become Christians through the outreach considered the area to be their church. As these new believers continued meeting in the open air, a shelter was built to replace the canvas covering, which today has become Makwati Community Church. The congregation continues to grow, with three people having completed a two-month discipleship course.
