Paul was away a long time… Originally when he left the UK to join Doulos, he expected to be gone two years. However, extending that commitment, living in Japan and then serving at the ships head office in Germany saw that time grow to a decade. This weekend, some of those boxes of worldly possessions he packed way back in 1999 caught up with him. Exploring the contents provided a snapshot of life back then – a real trip down memory lane! So much has changed since that time, but it was good to reflect on a decade of stepping out in faith to serve overseas.
